Gurukul Yoga School

Gurukul Yoga School is located in Gali No. 3 in the Uttranchal area of Rishikesh. Our pin code is 249409. It’s a simple building on a narrow street. You have to walk a bit to find us if you are new to the area. Rishikesh is full of places like ours, but we just stick to our own space. We have a room for yoga and some basic facilities for people who stay. It’s not a luxury resort. There are no fancy mats or expensive decorations. We just have the floor and the walls and some quiet. The neighbors are mostly local families. You can hear the sounds of the street during the day, like bells and motorbikes. It’s just part of the atmosphere here. We don't have a big team of people. It’s just a couple of us who look after the place and do the teaching. We wake up early to start the day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just carry on. People find us because they want a real experience, not a polished one. We don’t do much on the internet. We just focus on what happens inside Gali No. 3. It’s a very basic way of living and working. Rishikesh has a lot of energy, and we are just a small part of it. We keep the doors open for whoever wants to come in. The walls are a bit thin, and we don't have air conditioning, just some fans that hum while we work. It’s a very humble spot.
