Giridhar Foods

We started Giridhar Foods because we needed something to do here in Haridwar. Being inside Hotel Giridhar at Plot Number 5 means we see a lot of travelers coming through Naya Haridwar Colony. It’s right near Chandra Charya Chowk, so the traffic is always heavy. We just focus on getting the food out on time. The kitchen is busy from morning till night. We have a few guys working the stoves and some others cleaning up. It isn’t a fancy place with decorations, but it works for the people staying at the hotel and those walking over from Ranipur More. Sometimes the orders get a bit mixed up when it’s crowded, but we fix it. We don't spend money on ads or big signs. Most people just find us because they are hungry and walking past the hotel gate. The menu has what you’d expect for this area. We buy our vegetables from the local market every other day to keep things moving. My brother helps with the accounts, though he’s not always here. It’s a lot of work running a food business in a place as busy as Haridwar, but we’ve been at this address for a while now. You can find us easily if you know where the hotel is. We just keep the lights on and the tea hot for whoever walks in. It is a simple life and a simple shop for us.
