All Saints Convents School

We are up in New Tehri, which is a unique place to live and work. The school is located in Tehri Garhwal, and the scenery around us is something we see every day, so we sometimes forget how beautiful it is. Life in the hills moves at a different pace than in the plains. Our school building is a practical structure that handles the mountain weather well. During the winter months, it can get quite cold, so we all wrap up in heavy sweaters. Most of our students and staff are locals who know these roads well. We aren't a big corporate school; we are more of a community fixture. The hallways are often filled with the sound of students talking or the wind blowing outside. We spend a lot of time just managing the logistics of being in a hilly area, like making sure supplies get delivered on time despite the terrain. We don't have a marketing department writing fancy scripts for us. We just tell people where we are and what we do. It’s a straightforward environment. We have our regular routines, and we stick to them. Some days the clouds are so low they almost touch the playground. It’s a quiet life here, focused on the kids and their day-to-day learning. We just try to keep the place running well for everyone in New Tehri without any unnecessary complications.
