Our school is located over at 4 B L D in Sribijaynagar. It’s a bit of a dusty part of Sri Ganganagar, but we like it here well enough. The Rajasthan sun can be pretty intense in the middle of the day, so the shaded areas under the trees are usually packed during the breaks. We have been operating for quite some time now, mostly helping the local kids get through their middle and secondary school years. It’s a simple setup with rows of wooden benches and chalkboards that have seen better days. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us who live and work in this 335704 zip code. If you come by in the afternoon, you’ll probably see us tidying up the small yard or sorting through stacks of papers in the main office. There isn't much in the way of high-tech equipment, but we make do with what we have on hand. The kids bring their own lunches in metal boxes and sit together in the courtyard. It’s a very local feel. We know almost everyone’s name and which house they belong to down the street. Some of the windows stick a bit when it rains, and we’ve been meaning to get someone to look at that soon. It’s just an honest little school trying to provide a place for learning for the neighborhood. Nothing too fancy. We’re just here every single day, doing the usual school things and keeping the place going.
