Guru Gobind Singh Public Secondary School

Guru Gobind Singh Public Secondary School is located in Anupgarh, which is part of the Sri Ganganagar district near the border. The school has been part of this community for a long time. It’s a secondary school, so we see kids growing up from small children into teenagers. The building itself is a large, rectangular structure with a courtyard in the middle where everything happens. You’ll find teachers sitting in the sun during the winter breaks and kids playing tag in the shade when it’s hot. The classrooms are basic, with white walls that we try to keep clean, though fingerprints always seem to find their way onto them. We have a computer room, but it’s small and everyone has to take turns. Life in Anupgarh is tied to the seasons and the farming cycles, and the school reflects that. When it’s harvest time, sometimes attendance drops a bit, but we just keep going. The staff room is a busy place where we plan the week and complain about the heat. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. We just have our building on a dusty street and a lot of students who need to learn their math and science. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere where we just try to do right by the families who trust us with their kids.
