Krishna Public School

Krishna Public School is situated out in 25 Ntr, Nohar. If you are from this corner of the Hanumangarh district, you know it is a pretty quiet and grounded place. We have a solid building here that serves as a second home for the local children. It is not one of those expensive schools you see in the big cities. We just provide a basic, functional environment where kids can sit down and focus on their books. The teachers are mostly from the same area, so there is a lot of familiarity between the staff and the families. We don’t go in for much marketing or trying to sound more important than we are. The playground is just a patch of ground where the kids run around during their breaks, usually playing tag or just talking. Sometimes the weather out here can be quite harsh, with the heat or the cold, but we keep the doors open and the lessons moving. We put a lot of emphasis on the daily homework and making sure the students actually understand what they are reading. Every now and then we have a small gathering for a festival, and the parents come by to see their kids perform. It’s a very local, practical way of doing things. We are just here to help the kids learn what they need to know to get through life. The school runs on a routine that works for everyone.
