St Peter'S Academy

We are located on Chatarpur Road in Mamna, which is just outside of Mahoba. It’s a bit of a drive to get here from the main town, but it’s a quiet spot for an academy. The building stands out because there isn't much else around it on this stretch of road. We have a few trees planted near the entrance, but they take a lot of water to keep alive in this soil. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of benches and some whiteboards. We spend our days going from one class to the next. The office is usually a mess of registers and old pens that don't always work. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from fixing a lightbulb to helping a student with their forms. Lunchtime is the only time it gets really loud. We usually sit under the shade of the building to eat our tiffins. The road outside can get busy with tractors and trucks, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s mostly just the sound of someone reading out loud. It’s an honest kind of life out here. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. People just know we’re here because they see the building on their way to Chatarpur. We just keep the doors open and do what needs to be done every single day without fail.
