No 1 Air Force School

No 1 Air Force School is situated right at the Air Force Station Maharajpur, just off Bhind Road. Because we are on the base, things feel a little different than they might in the middle of a busy city. There is a lot of security around the perimeter, and you often hear the sounds of planes or other engines from the station while you’re in class. The school building itself is strong and built to last. We have children coming in from families who live both on the base and in the nearby areas. It gets very busy in the mornings when the buses and cars arrive. The hallways are long and have that specific smell of chalk and old paper that you find in most schools. We have various rooms set up for the different subjects the kids have to study. The playground is a decent enough size for them to run around and get some fresh air. We don’t go in for anything flashy or modern. It’s just a place for getting schoolwork done. The teachers here stay busy with their lesson plans and marking their papers. We follow the schedules pretty strictly because that is just the way things work around here. It can get loud with the traffic from Bhind Road sometimes, but we don’t really notice it much anymore. Most people around Maharajpur know where we are. It’s just a normal part of the base life.
