Janta Electricals

Our shop is right in front of the Government Excellence School on Joura Morena road. If you know the area, you know how loud it gets when the school bell rings and all the kids come out at once. We have been here at Janta Electricals for a long time now. The front of the shop usually has some coils of wire or a few switchboards sitting out on the ledge. It is a dusty spot because of the traffic on the main road, so we are always wiping down the glass counters. People stop by on their way into town or when they are heading back to the village. Sometimes they just need a single bulb or a bit of tape for a quick fix at home. We keep the shelves packed with whatever we can fit, from pipes to small bits of hardware. It is not a fancy place at all. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the air moving during the hot afternoons. We sit here and wait for the regulars who know we have got what they need. There is always someone asking for advice on a pump or a motor. We do not have much space to walk around inside because of all the stock piled up, but we know where everything is hidden. It is just how we run things every day from morning until the sun goes down. It is a simple life behind the counter.
