It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We work with stones and different products related to that. The office is usually covered in a bit of stone dust or has heavy samples sitting on the desks. We aren't really the type of people who sit in suits all day. It’s more about checking the quality of the stone and making sure the deliveries are going out to the right places. Beltola is a good area for us, even if traffic gets a bit backed up on Saikia Road during the afternoons. We started this because we knew about stones and figured we could make a go of it ourselves. It’s been a lot of hard work. We don't have a fancy receptionist or a big lobby. You just walk in and someone will help you out. We handle everything ourselves from the orders to the shipping. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at once, but we figure it out. It’s a local operation and we know most of the people around here. We just try to do right by the folks who buy from us. That’s the long and short of it. No big corporate promises, just stone products and a bit of effort every single day.
