Kajiranga Marble Tiles

Down here at 28, Beltala, things stay pretty busy throughout the week. Piniyali is a good spot for us, and being at Kajiranga Marble Tiles means we are always surrounded by stacks of stone and crates of tiles. The yard isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Every morning starts with checking the inventory and seeing what arrived on the late trucks from the night before. Moving tiles is delicate work, you have to be careful not to chip the edges or drop a whole box. We spend a lot of time just organizing things so customers can actually see the patterns and the finishes. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that is part of the job. Some days are slower than others, giving us time to sweep the floors and rearrange the displays near the entrance. We have been in Beltala for a bit now, and most people around here know where to find us. It is not a glamorous business, just a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of square footage. When someone walks in, we usually just walk them through the rows. There is no script or anything, we just show them what we have on the pallets. Sometimes the rain makes things muddy, but we keep the tiles covered up as best as we can. It is a simple way to make a living, and we like being part of the local scene here.
