Ambika Marbles

Our shop is on the Beltola - Basistha Road, right near the Last Gate area in Basisthpur. It is a busy part of town with a lot of people moving around. We have been here for quite some time, selling marble and stone to anyone who needs it. The space we have is mostly taken up by big slabs of marble leaning against the walls. It is a bit cramped sometimes when a new shipment arrives. We have to move things around to make room for the new stock. Most of the time, it is just us working in the shop, helping customers look at the different patterns in the marble. Some people want plain white and others want something with more veins in it. We just show them what we have on the floor. The road outside is always full of cars and bikes, so it can be a bit noisy. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for people to stop by. It is a simple way to run a business. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around Basisthpur. Sometimes we sit outside when things are quiet. The marble gets a bit dusty from the road, so we have to wipe it down every now and then so people can see the real color. It is honest work and we have been doing it for years. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
