Jettwings College

Jettwings College sits on Level Four of the building in Ananda Nagar, Christian Basti. If you are in Guwahati, you probably know the area around Christian Basti is always moving. We are right there on the fourth floor. It takes a bit of a climb or the lift to get up to us. We have been operating here in Assam for a bit. The college is mostly about getting students ready for what comes next in their lives. We have classrooms set up with whatever we could get to make it comfortable for learning. The windows look out over the city. You can hear the sounds of the street from the balcony sometimes. Students come in from all over the city and some from further away in Assam. We spend our days checking attendance, running the scheduled classes, and sitting in the office dealing with paperwork. It is a bit of a tight space sometimes when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. The staff here are just regular people who know their subjects. We do not use big words to describe ourselves. We are just a college on the fourth floor trying to help the young people who walk through our doors. Everyone knows everyone after a few weeks. It feels more like a small community than a big institution. That is the way we like to run things.
