This college is a well-known spot in Guwahati, right in the middle of the city. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age. It’s got that old-fashioned look with high ceilings and thick walls. Assam gets a lot of rain, so there’s often a bit of dampness in the air, and the grounds can get a little muddy. We don't have a modern glass-and-steel campus. It’s mostly concrete and old wooden furniture. The hallways are long and can be a bit dark on cloudy days. Students are always hanging around the main entrance or sitting under the trees when the weather is nice. We have a lot of history here, but we don't really make a big deal out of it. It’s just where we work. The admin office is always busy with people asking for forms or checking their results. We use a lot of paper and the cupboards are bursting with old records. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. The staff room is a place where we drink tea and talk about the news. It’s a very relaxed, local vibe. We don’t follow a corporate handbook. We just manage the classes and help the students find their way through the courses. It's a real, lived-in place.
