Jbs Food Restaurants is right in the heart of Fancy Bazar in Guwahati. You can find us on M G Road, specifically opposite the Ferry Ghat. If you know the 781001 area, you know how crowded and lively it gets with all the traders and people coming off the river. Our location is right in the thick of it. It’s a busy place and we stay on our toes from morning until we close up at night. The restaurant is basic and built for people who are in the middle of their day and need to sit down for a quick bite or a proper meal. We see a lot of people who work in the market and also travelers who have just arrived at the ghat. The noise of the traffic and the shouting from the market usually drifts in, but that’s just the atmosphere of Fancy Bazar. We keep the menu simple and the service straightforward. There aren't any decorations to speak of, just some tables and chairs that do the job. We spend a lot of our time making sure the kitchen keeps up with the demand, especially during the peak hours. It’s a gritty, real part of the city and we fit right in. We don't pretend to be anything other than a local eating house.
