Benison Food Court

Benison Food Court is located at 789 GNB Road. We are right in the Guwahati Club area, and if you look across the street, you’ll see TC Girls High School. Being near a school means we see a lot of students and parents every day. The mornings are usually spent getting the counters ready and making sure everything is in place before the lunch rush starts. Guwahati Club is a pretty hectic part of town, so there is always noise from the traffic on GNB Road. We have different stalls inside the food court area. It’s a bit of a mix of smells and sounds once the cooking gets going. The ceiling fans stay on all day to keep the air moving, especially when it gets humid outside. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the usual menus and some chairs for people to take a break. Sometimes the delivery bikes get parked right out front and make it a bit crowded to walk in. We just focus on getting the food out to the tables as fast as we can. It’s a lot of work staying on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now. After the school bell rings in the afternoon, it gets even busier for an hour or so. Then things quiet down a bit before the evening crowd comes in from the offices nearby. It’s just how the day goes for us at the club.
