Assam Tea Company

We are over here at Assam Tea Company. Most people know us because we are right near Sarafa Bazaar. If you find the Shiv Mandir, we are basically just opposite that. Subhash Goel is the one who looks after things here. Hanuman Gali gets pretty busy during the day. It is an old part of town and everyone knows everyone else. We spend most of our time dealing with the tea that comes in and goes out to the local folks. It isn't a fancy setup. Just a desk, some chairs, and the smell of dry leaves. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud but you get used to it. People stop by after visiting the temple or when they are out shopping for jewelry nearby. We have been in this spot for a while now. It feels like home. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are too busy to get to it. We keep the doors open so the breeze comes in from the street. It’s just how we do things here in Hanuman Gali. Nothing too complicated. We just handle the business and chat with the neighbors who walk past. It’s a simple life really. You see the same faces every morning. We know when the tea trucks are coming by the sound they make on the road. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down.
