We are located at House No-412 in Mohalla Kishanpura. We’re right near the Oriental Bank, which is how most people find their way to us. This isn't a big corporate headquarters with glass walls; it’s more of a converted house that serves as our main office for the seed business. We work with hybrid seeds. It’s a lot of technical work and record-keeping, but we try to keep things grounded and simple. The rooms are filled with old desks and metal filing cabinets. Sometimes the narrow hallway is blocked with bags of seeds waiting to be moved to the warehouse. We’ve been in Kishanpura for quite a while now. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we try to be quiet and not cause too much trouble with our trucks. Most of us here grew up in this region and know the local farmers by their first names. When they come by, we usually sit down for a bit and talk about the weather or how the last harvest turned out. It’s a personal way of doing business that you don't see much anymore. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy logo. Word of mouth is how most people hear about Yashoda. We just try to provide seeds that actually grow well in this specific soil. It’s not always perfect, but we do our best. The office can get a bit hectic during the busy planting season when everyone wants things at once.
