Our place is located on the second floor of Sco 23 in Sector 14. Being upstairs means we don't have cars driving straight into a garage bay, but we make it work with the space we have. Most people find us because they’ve got a chip in their glass or a crack that started spreading across the driver's side. We spend a lot of time looking at glass under different lights to see how deep the damage goes. The office is pretty basic, just some chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their glass to get fixed or replaced. It’s usually quiet enough, though you can hear the traffic from the street downstairs all day long. We keep the tools organized on the back wall, and there’s always a stack of new windshields leaning against the padded racks. Replacing a whole piece of glass takes a bit of time and steady hands, so we try not to rush it even when there's a line of people waiting. Sometimes we talk about the different cars that come through, from old small ones to the newer big models. It’s mostly about the sticky sealants and making sure the glass sits perfectly in the frame. Lunch is usually just something quick from the shops nearby. It’s a steady routine of cleaning glass, applying resin, and chatting with customers who are usually a bit stressed about their broken windows. We just stay focused on the work at hand and hope the weather stays clear so the adhesives can set properly.
