Solanki Turbo Centre

Solanki Turbo Centre is located right by Anaj Mandi Chowk in Naharpur Rupa, near Sector 8. We are a mechanical workshop that deals mostly with turbos for trucks and cars. The place is usually covered in oil and grease. You’ll see parts of engines scattered around on the worktables and heavy machinery for testing the turbo units. It’s loud because of the tools and the traffic from the mandi nearby. We don't wear suits or sit behind desks. We spend the day in overalls with grease under our fingernails. When a driver brings in a vehicle that’s losing power or making a weird whistling sound, we take the turbo apart to see what’s wrong. Sometimes it’s just a clogged filter or a loose pipe, other times the whole unit needs a rebuild. We have been here for a long time, and the local drivers know our shop. We don’t do much advertising. People just find us because we’re near the chowk and they see the stacks of metal parts outside. It’s a rough and ready kind of place. We have a small kettle for tea and a few chairs for when a customer has to wait for a part to be cleaned. We aren't trying to be a high-end service center. We just fix the parts that make the engines run better. It’s honest work that involves a lot of heavy lifting and metal cleaning. We just focus on the machines.
