The Music Fraternity

The Music Fraternity is located at D-198 in Sushant Lok-1. It’s a place where we deal with all things music-related every day. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise at a reasonable level, though that isn't always easy when you're working with instruments or sound equipment. Inside, we have different areas for different tasks. It’s not a shiny corporate studio, it’s more of a lived-in space where things are constantly being moved around. You might see a guitar sitting on a chair or a bunch of cables coiled up in a corner. We spend a lot of time just listening and organizing things. The people who work here really care about what they do, but we don’t talk about it in a fancy way. We just get on with it. Sometimes we have people dropping by to talk about projects or just to see what we are working on. The office feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but it’s a good kind of busy. Gurgaon can be quite loud outside, but once you step into our spot in Sushant Lok, it’s a different kind of sound. We don't have a strict dress code or anything like that. We just show up in whatever is comfortable and start working on the music. It’s a simple setup that works for us, and we’ve been here for quite some time now.
