We started Jungle Treasure in a small space at K/19/1 in Phase-II of DLF City. It’s a residential-feeling area but with lots of offices tucked into the houses. Our place is basically a few rooms filled with different natural materials and decorative items we’ve gathered. It’s not very tidy because we are always unpacking new things or sorting through inventory. We don't have a big staff, just me and a friend who handles the phone calls. The air conditioner runs all day during the summer, but it still feels a bit heavy with the scent of the wood and dried plants we keep around. Most of our day is spent at the packing table, making sure nothing breaks during transport. We have a small courtyard out back where we keep the bulkier items that don't mind the weather. It’s a bit of a juggle trying to keep track of everything, and sometimes we lose the keys to the storage cabinets. The neighbors are used to seeing delivery bikes coming and going from our gate. It’s a simple operation, really. We just like working with these kinds of objects and making sure they get to where they need to go. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists, but it keeps us on our toes. We just do our best to get things out on time every week.
