Plot 230 in Udyog Vihar Phase-1 is where we spend our days. Gurgaon is always moving fast, and this area is no different. We are surrounded by other factories and offices, so there’s always a crowd at the tea stalls outside. Our building is pretty plain. We deal with water systems, so there are pipes and filters and testing kits all over the place. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time monitoring the equipment and checking the logs. The office gets a bit noisy because of the trucks moving on the main road. We have a small team here. Most of us have been together for a while now. The air conditioning is a necessity because of the Haryana heat. We don't have a big lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will help you. We keep a lot of spare parts in the back because you never know when something will break. The furniture is a bit mismatched, mostly stuff we bought when we first moved in. We don't worry about that too much as long as the water is flowing and the tests are coming back right. It’s just a regular office in a busy industrial hub where we try to stay on top of the daily grind without too much fuss. Sometimes the water cooler breaks down and we find that funny since that is the business we are in. We fix it eventually when the work slows down.
