Sukhmay Education is located in Green Wood City, specifically at H 37 in Residency Green. It’s more of a home-style office than a big corporate building. We like it that way because it feels more personal. We spend our days surrounded by books and papers. People come in to ask about classes or how to get their kids enrolled in different programs. We sit at the wooden table and go over the details. It isn’t always organized; sometimes we have stacks of notebooks piled up in the corner. We spend time planning out lessons and talking about how to help the students understand the material better. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate. We have a small team here. We make our own tea in the kitchen. Sometimes the printer jams and we spend twenty minutes trying to fix it. That's just how it goes. We don’t have a big sign outside, just enough for people to find us. We focus on the teaching part and the paperwork that comes with it. Gurgaon can be a busy place, but inside H 37, things move at a bit of a slower pace. We make sure the records are kept in the metal filing cabinet. It’s a lot of manual work, writing things down and checking them against the computer lists. We just do our bit every day and then lock up the house. It is a steady routine for us all.
