Suddhtatva Farming Private Limited

It might seem a bit strange to have a farming company like Suddhtatva Farming Private Limited based in Apartment 1702 at World Spa in Sector 30. We are way up on the 17th floor in B1, far away from the actual mud and dirt, but this is where we handle all the logistics and the boring paperwork. The view is nice, but our minds are usually out on the plots where the real work happens. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at maps of the fields. It is a different way of doing things, trying to bridge that gap between the city life in Gurgaon and the quiet of the farms. Sometimes it feels like we are living in two different worlds. One minute you are in an elevator and the next you are thinking about soil nutrients and irrigation schedules. We don't have a barn here, just some desks and a lot of coffee. The transition wasn't easy, but we wanted to bring a bit of order to how the crops are managed. It’s a lot of coordination. We talk to the guys on the ground every single day to see what the weather is doing. Even though we are in a high-rise, the conversation is always about the land. It’s just how we decided to set things up to keep everything organized. It gets a bit hectic when harvest starts and the phones don't stop ringing at all hours.
