Down in the basement of M-7 in Old DLF Colony, you’ll find Shine Skill Development Private Limited. Sector-14 is a pretty active part of Gurgaon, and being in the basement means we stay a bit cooler during those long Haryana summers. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we get things done. We focus on teaching skills that people actually need for jobs. It’s mostly just us and the students. There is a lot of noise from the street above sometimes, but we don't let it bother us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the computers work fine and that's what matters. We started this because we saw a lot of people looking for work without having the right training. So, we set up shop here. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Word usually gets around from one person to the next. If you come by, you’ll likely see a few of us drinking tea and going over the day's schedule. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a local spot in the 122001 area trying to help people get ahead. Some days are slow, and other days we don't have enough chairs for everyone. That is just how it goes when you’re running a small operation like this.
