Om Architect

If you come down to Sector 47 in Gurgaon, you'll find us at Plot Number 1107. We are right on Sohna Road, and it gets pretty busy around here, especially near Subhash Chowk. Our space isn't anything fancy, just a place where we sit down with our rolls of paper and pencils to figure out how a building should look. Most days at Om Architect start with a lot of tea and some quiet time before the phones start ringing. People walk in looking for advice on their house plans or maybe just to see what we’ve been working on lately. We spend a lot of time staring at site maps and trying to make things fit where they should. The traffic outside can be a bit loud sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle the drawings and the technical side of things without making a big fuss about it. Sometimes we are out on the field checking if the walls are going up straight, and other times we are just here at the desk fixing a small mistake in a design. It’s just how the work goes. There isn’t a massive team here, just a few of us who know our way around a blueprint. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the lines right on the paper so someone can actually build it later on. We stay until the light fades and the drawing is done.
