Nagina Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is right here at number 51 in the village of Nagina, which is part of the Mewat region in Haryana. It is a place where everybody knows everybody else’s business, especially when it comes to farming. We started this producer company because we were tired of being the last ones to know about anything new in agriculture. In Nagina, the land can be a bit tricky, and we have to work pretty hard to get a good harvest. We are just regular farmers who decided to join up so we could have a bit more say in what happens to our crops after they leave the field. There is no corporate office here, just a room where we keep our tools and some records. We talk about the weather a lot because it’s what matters most to us. When the rain doesn't come, we all feel it. When the harvest is good, the whole village feels a bit better. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure we have enough seeds and fertilizer for everyone in our group. It is a simple way of living, but it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. If you happen to be passing through Mewat, you can find us in the village. We are just plain folks trying to keep the farming tradition going in Nagina.
