My Kids World

You can find us over at The Sapphire Market on Sohna Road, right across from Orchid Petals. We are up on the first floor at shop 163, so people have to take the stairs or the lift to see us. The store is packed with all sorts of things for children. We have racks of clothes that sometimes get a bit messy when kids start pulling things out. There are toys on the lower shelves and strollers parked near the entrance. It is often quite loud in here when families come in on the weekends. We spend a lot of time folding small shirts and organizing socks by size. The light from the mall corridor shines in, but we have our own lamps too. Sometimes a toy starts making noise on its own and we have to find it in the pile to turn it off. It’s a busy spot in Sector 49. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us keeping an eye on things. We help people find the right size for a birthday gift or a pair of shoes that won't fall off. The floor is usually covered in a bit of lint from the fabrics. We try to keep the window display looking decent so people notice us from the walkway. It’s just a shop for parents who need stuff for their kids without making a big fuss.
