Hijadamoodi Primary School

This is a small primary school located in Jaccubpura, Gurgaon. Our address is 412/12, in Ward No.8. If you know Gurgaon, you know how much it has changed over the years, but Jaccubpura still feels like the old part of town. The streets are quite narrow and there are lots of houses built very close together. We have the younger kids here, so it is always a bit loud with shouting and running around the hallways. The building is an older one, but it serves us well enough for what we need. We have a few rooms for the different classes. Being in Ward 8, we are right in the middle of where people live and shop. You can hear the vegetable sellers calling out from the street while we are inside teaching. It is a very local atmosphere. We do not have a big fancy office; we usually just sit at our wooden desks and get through the daily work. The kids are all local, so we see their families all the time at the market or just walking by the gate. Sometimes we have to deal with minor repairs, like a leaky tap or a broken chair that needs fixing, but we handle it. It is just a normal, everyday primary school where we try to keep things going for the children in the neighborhood. It is not fancy at all, but it is our place in Jaccubpura. We like the familiarity of the street and the people around us.
