Govt Primary Schools Meranal

Being in Gurgaon with the 122001 zip code means we are right in the middle of a city that never stops growing. Our primary school has been around through a lot of those changes. It is a government-run place, so we don’t have the flashy signs or the big gates you see at the private academies down the road. We are here for the kids in the Meranal area who need a solid start in their education. Every morning, the yard fills up with children wearing their uniforms, carrying bags that often look a bit too heavy for them. The classrooms are simple and the furniture is old, but it serves the purpose. We spend our days teaching the kids their first lessons in Hindi, English, and Math. It’s noisy and sometimes chaotic, especially during the lunch break when everyone is running around the small open area we have. The staff here is small and we all have to do a bit of everything, from teaching to fixing things that break. We don't use any fancy technology; it’s mostly just chalk and blackboards. Parents often stop by to talk about their kids, usually during the afternoon when things settle down a bit. We know the struggles the families face and we try to be a steady part of their lives. It is just a regular school doing regular work every single day, trying to help the next generation get started.
