Metal Engineers

Metal Engineers is located over at Plot No-388 in Nangla Village. We are right near Sohna Road, so it is not too hard to find us if you know the area. The shop is usually full of the sound of grinding and metal hitting metal. It can get pretty hot inside, especially when we have the machines running all morning. We aren't exactly a high-tech lab or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get built. The yard out front usually has some scraps piled up, and the floor is always a bit messy with metal shavings. We try to sweep up, but by midday, it’s back to how it was. My hands are usually stained with oil, and most of the guys here are the same. We take our tea breaks together under the shade when it gets too hot. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a lot of people working here, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. If someone calls and we don't pick up, it's probably because the noise from the saws is too loud to hear the phone. We just like making things that last. It’s not about being the biggest shop in Nangla Village, just about being the one that does the job right. Sometimes the gate sticks a bit, but we know the trick to opening it. That's just how we do things here.
