Gargi Chauhan is the one running Ibm Tecnologies out of her place in Gurgaon. The address is J 613 in the Jalvayu Towers. If you know Sector 56, you know it’s a busy area with lots of people coming and going. The towers are quite tall and there are hundreds of families living right next to where we work. It’s not your typical office setting with cubicles and a water cooler. Instead, it’s a home-based setup where things are a bit more relaxed but still very busy every day. Gargi stays on top of everything from her apartment. The view from the sixth floor is alright, mostly looking out over the other blocks and the parking lot. The lift can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is heading out, so we’ve learned to be patient with it. We don't have a big staff or a fancy boardroom for meetings. Most of the work happens right there at the dining table or a small desk in the corner of the room. Living and working in the same spot means the day never really ends, but it works for us. Sector 56 has everything we need close by, like the local markets and small tea stalls. We don't use any corporate jargon or have long meetings that go nowhere. It’s just Gargi and the daily tasks that need to get done. It might seem small to some, but it’s how we prefer to run our business here.
