Our office is at Sco 101 on the first floor in Sector 31. It’s right there in the Mini Market area, which is always busy with people coming and going for their daily shopping. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, so we can see when the guards arrive for their briefings. We’ve been operating from this spot for a bit now. It isn’t a huge corporate space, just a couple of rooms with desks and a lot of logbooks stacked up. We spend most of our mornings talking to the staff and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to go for their shift. Sometimes there’s a bit of a mix-up with the bus timings or someone gets sick, so we have to move people around quickly. It’s a lot of coordination on the fly. We don’t really go in for those big presentations or shiny brochures you see from the massive companies. We just focus on the guys we have and the places we look after. If someone has a problem, they just walk up the stairs and talk to us directly. It’s better that way than dealing with automated phone lines or stuff like that. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and they know us. It feels like being part of the local scene here in the market. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
