Baluda Farmers Producer Company Limited

We operate out of house number 10 in Baluda village, which is right in the Sohna area of Gurugram. Even though this whole region is changing fast with all the new buildings, we are still focused on the land here. This company is basically just a group of us who live and work in the village. We’ve seen how things are going, and we figured that if we organized ourselves better, we could handle the farming side of things more effectively. It’s not easy work. Most of our days are spent checking on the fields and making sure everything is growing like it should. We aren't big on talking about ourselves. We just do the work. Being near Sohna means we are close to the city, but Baluda still feels like home. We handle the seeds and the tools and whatever else the farmers here might need. Sometimes the rains don't come when we want, or the pests get into the crops, but we deal with it together. It’s a lot better than trying to fix every problem alone. We stay busy with the practical stuff. The office is just a place to keep the records straight. Mostly, we are outside. We just want to keep the village farming alive while everything around us keeps growing so quickly.
