1Monk Agro Private Limited is located at UGK-3 in Star Mall, Silokhra. It’s a bit unusual to have an agro office in a mall, but it works for us. We deal with various agricultural products and help with the trade side of things. We’re a relatively small group. Most of our work involves talking to people across the supply chain. We aren't a big corporate giant. We just have this one spot in the mall where we handle our business. It gets a bit noisy outside sometimes with the shoppers, but inside we’re focused on the crops. We work on finding markets for different agricultural goods. It’s very hands-on work. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon. We just talk about what’s happening in the fields and what the buyers are looking for. It’s a practical way to run a business. We have our regulars who come by to chat about the market. Sometimes things are slow, other times we can barely keep up with the calls. We just take it day by day. Silokhra is a good area for us. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve gotten to know the local landscape pretty well. We aren't trying to change the world. We’re just trying to facilitate some good trades and keep the agro business moving forward. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening.
