Winter Wear India (P) Ltd. is located at 352 in Phase-II of Udyog Vihar. This area is a huge hub with so many factories and offices that it’s easy to get lost if you don't know the plot numbers. Our place is a bit of a trek from the main entrance of the phase. We make all kinds of winter clothing, so the place is usually full of heavy jackets, woolens, and thick fabrics. Even when it’s boiling hot outside in the summer, we are inside surrounded by winter coats. It feels a bit strange sometimes. The warehouse part of the building is pretty big and stays a bit dark because we keep the shutters down to keep the dust out. There’s always someone loading a truck or checking the inventory. Udyog Vihar is a fast-paced place, and there’s a lot of pressure to get things out on time. We’ve been here for a long time and have seen the whole area grow up around us. It’s a lot of management and keeping track of the workers on the floor. We aren't a corporate giant, just a private limited company trying to keep things running smoothly. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we all know how the machines work and where the problems usually start. It’s just a regular garment factory life, focused on the next season.
