Veejay Savio Lakshmi Machinery Ltd.

Our office is located at 1102 in Signature Tower-A, which is part of South City-1 along the Delhi Jaipur Road. It’s a big building, and sometimes the elevators take forever to come down. Veejay Savio Lakshmi Machinery Ltd. is mostly about the big industrial equipment, so our day is filled with technical specs and long phone calls with factories. From the eleventh floor, you can see all the traffic backed up on the highway, which is a bit of a distraction sometimes. The office itself is pretty standard, with desks, computers, and a lot of binders full of machinery parts lists. It’s not a place where we host big parties or anything like that. We just come in, check the orders, and make sure the logistics are moving the way they should. It gets a bit hectic when a customer has a breakdown and needs a part sent out immediately. We don't have a lot of time for polished presentations. Most of the talk here is about dimensions, load capacities, and shipping dates. It’s a dry kind of business, but it’s what keeps the industries running. We take our lunches at our desks more often than we should. It’s just a group of people working hard in a high-rise, trying to keep up with the demands of the machinery world while looking out at the haze over the Delhi Jaipur Road. We just do the best we can.
