Techini Industries

Out on Daultabad Main Road, we’ve got our workshop. It’s an industrial area, so the sound of machines or heavy trucks is always in the background. A lot of metal work and parts manufacturing happens here. The floor is concrete and usually has a bit of oil or metal shavings on it. There is no receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find someone wearing overalls or a stained shirt. Most of the day is spent at the lathes or the welding stations. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but the big industrial fans stay running. This place started because we liked fixing things and making parts that actually fit. Daultabad is a good spot for this kind of work because everyone around here is doing something similar. We don't spend time on fancy letters or big meetings. Looking at the drawings and getting to work is the priority. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the night getting it back up so we don't fall behind. It’s just the way it goes in a small industry. The road outside is always busy with tempos and lorries carrying goods. Having been here long enough, the neighbors know us by name. It’s a practical life, working with your hands and making sure the work is good enough. We just keep the machines running and the orders moving at Techini Industries.
