Our office is located at 428 in Udyog Vihar, Phase-Iv, which is a busy part of the city. If you’ve ever tried to drive through here at five in the evening, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s a lot of concrete and glass around us, but our space is pretty basic inside. We have the usual desks, some computers that are a few years old, and a lot of filing cabinets that probably need a good sorting. We spend most of our time dealing with the small details that keep a business running. It’s not very exciting stuff, but it’s what keeps the lights on. The tea breaks are the highlight of the day for most of us, standing out by the entrance and watching the delivery bikes zip past. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just show up every morning, deal with the phone calls, and try to get the paperwork finished before the courier arrives. Sometimes the air conditioning makes a weird rattling sound, but we’ve learned to ignore it. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually get it done. It’s a working office, not a museum. We know the other people in the building, and we all complain about the parking situation together. It’s just a normal day-to-day grind for us here.
