S.S. Jewellers

Our shop is on New Railway Road. It’s a busy street with lots of traffic and people going about their daily business. We’ve been here at S.S. Jewellers for quite a long time now. People in the neighborhood know us, and we see the same families coming in for years as their kids grow up. We do a bit of everything, from fixing broken chains to selling new rings for weddings. It’s not a massive showroom with guards at the door and fancy lights. It’s just a friendly place where you can sit down and look at some gold or silver without feeling rushed. We try to be fair with everyone who walks in. The shop is small, so it gets crowded quickly on Saturdays when people have time off. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases and making sure the velvet cushions are straight. Sometimes the noise from the railway road gets a bit much with all the honking and the buses passing by, but we are used to it now. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their friends. It feels more personal that way. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. It’s a simple life, looking after the shop and talking to people about their jewelry. We don't make big promises; we just show what we have.
