A Patisserie'S Gallery

We’re tucked away at number 586 on Shankar Road in the Dhundera area of Udyog Vihar. It’s a bit of an industrial backdrop for a place that makes cakes and pastries, but we like it here. The air usually smells like sugar and baked flour which is a nice change from the usual smells of the street. A Patisserie’S Gallery is where we spend most of our daylight hours, and often the late nights too. Baking isn't as relaxing as it looks on television. It involves a lot of heavy lifting with bags of flour and standing on your feet for hours at a time. We have a few big ovens that stay on all day and the kitchen can get pretty warm. We aren't some polished showroom; it’s a working bakery where flour gets on everything and the floors need scrubbing constantly. We focus on getting the textures right and making sure the deliveries are packed carefully so nothing gets squashed. Some days we are buried in orders for parties and other days it’s a bit slower. We just take it as it comes. Most of the folks working here have been through many birthdays and celebrations with our cakes. We don't use a lot of fancy words for what we do. We just bake things and hope people enjoy them when they get home. It’s honest work.
