We are out here on Behrampur Road near the highway. It gets pretty loud with all the trucks passing by 38 Km Nh-8. Most days start early because the heat in the workshop gets intense by noon. Stork Rubber Products Pvt Ltd has been in the Stork Building for a while now. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure the molds are set right. It is dusty work. Sometimes the machines act up or the power fluctuates, but that is just part of being in an industrial area like this. We have a small group of guys who have been here for years. We eat lunch together in the back area. It isn't a fancy office, just a practical place where we get things done. You can smell the rubber as soon as you pull into the gate. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates around. Most of the neighbors are other factories too. We usually wrap up around six unless there is a big order to finish. Dealing with the logistics on the highway takes up a lot of our afternoon phone calls. It is just a regular shop where people show up, do their shift, and try to keep things moving. We don't have a big front desk or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor near the presses or checking the loading bay. We keep the gate locked at night for security.
