We are located on the first floor of House 200 in Sector-46, Gurgaon. It’s a typical residential block for this area. You have to climb a flight of stairs to reach us. The office is basically an apartment that we use for Sony India operations. Sector-46 is actually quite peaceful when you compare it to the main city roads. We have a few rooms set up for different purposes. One room is strictly for paperwork and another is for some technical work. It’s not a store where you walk in to browse. It is a functional office. We drink a lot of coffee to keep ourselves going throughout the day. The big windows let in plenty of morning sunlight, but they also let in a lot of dust from the nearby construction. That’s just Gurgaon for you. We have a couple of old filing cabinets that squeak every time you open them. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small printout on the gate so people know they’ve found the right spot. The kitchen area is mostly used for storing extra boxes of cables. We make our own tea on a small electric stove. It’s not a high-rise glass building. It’s just a house where we happen to do business. We focus on getting the paperwork sorted and the calls answered. Every day is a bit different, but we mostly just keep to our routine in this house.
