Gap Int'L Sourcing

Our office is over in DLF Phase 1, specifically at H 25/10. Gurgaon has changed a lot since we first set up here. It used to be much quieter, but now there's traffic everywhere. We do sourcing work, which basically means a lot of phone calls and emails to different people. It gets a bit hectic when several things happen at once. The building isn't new, but it’s sturdy and has enough room for our small team to sit and work. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Just a regular place in a residential-looking area. Most of us have been here for a bit, so we know the local spots for lunch. We don’t really care for fancy titles or long meetings that don’t go anywhere. We just want to make sure the orders are placed correctly and that the suppliers know what we want. Sometimes there are delays, and we have to fix them. That’s just part of the day. The heat in Haryana can be rough in the summer, so we keep the AC running when it works. It’s a plain office. Not much to look at, but we get the sourcing done. People call us, we find what they need, and we move on to the next task. It's practical work for practical people. The tea boy comes by at eleven and four. We look forward to that break quite a bit. It helps us get through the pile of sourcing documents that never seems to shrink.
