You can find us out at 249 in the H.S.I.I.D.C. Rai area. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly just warehouses and factories around here. Shri Ram Industries has been operating out of this unit for a good stretch of time. The roads get a bit dusty when the big trucks roll through, which happens all day long. Inside, it’s usually pretty loud because of the machines running, but we don’t mind. It’s the sound of work getting done. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. They know the routine better than anyone. It’s not a glamorous place to work. There’s grease on the floors and tools scattered around the benches most of the time. We try to keep things organized, but when you're busy, things just pile up. We spend a lot of our time making sure the orders are ready on time. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to go out. Lunch breaks are usually taken sitting on crates or at the small table in the back. It’s a simple life. We don’t do much advertising; people just find us through word of mouth or because they’re also in the Rai area. It’s just how things go for a place like ours. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad.
