Genom Biotech

You can find us at H. N. 492 Sector 40, which is a bit of a quieter area compared to the big industrial parks. Genom Biotech is run out of this space, and we quite like the neighborhood feel of it. There are trees along the street and you can hear birds in the morning, which is a nice change of pace. Our setup is pretty straightforward. We turned a few rooms into our workspace where we handle all the biotech side of things. It’s a lot of keeping track of small details and making sure everything is stored at the right temperature. We have a few computers that are always running and shelves filled with specialized equipment. It’s not a place where we have a lot of walk-in traffic, so it stays fairly peaceful inside. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. The front gate is a little bit rusty and sometimes sticks when you try to open it, but we’ve learned the trick to it. We handle everything ourselves, from answering the door to packing up the shipments. It feels more personal working in Sector 40. We don’t have a big corporate structure or fancy meetings. We just sit down, look at what needs to be done for the day, and get started. It’s a steady way to work, and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know who we are and what we do at H. N. 492.
