Delhitabs Pharmacy

If you ever find yourself on Khandsa Road, you might see us at No. 672/18. Delhitabs Pharmacy has been sitting right here for quite some time. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside the front window. We’ve got motorcycles zooming past and people shouting to each other across the street. Inside the shop, things are a bit more organized, though it’s definitely a tight fit with all the medicine boxes we have to store. We try to keep everything in its place, but sometimes the counter gets a bit cluttered with prescriptions and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. The lighting is just those long fluorescent tubes that hum a little bit if you listen closely. We open the shutters early because there’s always someone needing something before they head off to work. It’s just a few of us running the place. We take turns sweeping the floor because the dust from Khandsa Road really likes to wander inside. There isn't any fancy decor here, just a clock on the wall that runs five minutes fast and some old wooden chairs for people to sit on while they wait. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the task at hand and try to be helpful when someone comes in with a question. It’s a simple life behind the counter and we like the routine.
