Working out of Unit-58 in Sector-3 of IMT Manesar is pretty much what you’d expect from an industrial area. It’s a lot of grey buildings and big trucks parked along the side of the road. Ranvik Exports Pvt. Ltd. is just one of many units here, but we’ve made our space comfortable enough for the long shifts. The commute out here can be a real pain depending on the traffic, but once we’re inside, we just get to it. The machinery makes a steady thumping sound that you stop noticing after the first hour. We have a small break area where we sit and eat our lunch, usually talking about whatever is on the news. The floor is concrete and there’s always someone moving a pallet or checking a list. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy magazine. It’s a real working factory environment where things get made and packed. We don't have time for fancy speeches or trying to look bigger than we are. We just focus on the production line and making sure the boxes are ready for the containers. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them on the fly, which keeps us on our toes. It’s a busy life here in Manesar, and we’re just part of the machinery of the place.
