Over here at Basai Enclave, we have been running Raj Plastics for a good while. The area has changed a lot since we first opened the doors, with more buildings going up every year. Our space is filled with all sorts of plastic goods, from containers to household items that people use every day. It’s a practical business, nothing too exciting to look at from the outside. The floor is concrete and we usually have stacks of buckets or tubs reaching up toward the ceiling. When the new stock arrives, the whole place smells like fresh plastic for a few days. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is counted and put in the right corner. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat or ask about a specific size of container they can't find elsewhere. We spend most of our time keeping track of what is going out and what we need to order next. It can get pretty cramped when a big shipment comes in unexpectedly. The lights flicker a bit in the back room, but we know where everything is even in the dark. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized as best we can. It’s not about being the biggest shop in the enclave, it’s just about being here when someone needs something specific for their kitchen or shop. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning.
